A modern building sensation at the end of the 19th century, today an insider tip for art enthusiasts: with the Villa Stuck, the painter Franz von Stuck created a successful composition of flat, studio and exhibition rooms in the heart of Munich. Particularly worth seeing: the Mediterranean-style artist's garden. Today, the villa houses a museum with works by Franz von Stuck as well as changing exhibitions of modern and contemporary art. It is only a few underground stops from Munich Central Station to the villa (stop: Max-Weber-Platz, then about eight minutes on foot).
