Colourful mountain pastures and fresh mountain air – there's no better way to welcome in spring. At Walmendingerhorn mountain you can take a hike through the world of alpine flowers. You can even take a botanic-geological tour on the educational flower path. The Walmendingerhornbahn cable car (summer season begins 30th of April) will take you up the mountain, and you can get there by taking the bus from Oberstdorf station. Tip: there is a discount if you present your regional day ticket for Bavaria. You can reach the Walmendingerhornbahn cable car by taking the number 1 Walserbus towards Baad from Oberstdorf station.
